Animal Adoption Fees
We have a large number of different pets available for adoption. These normally include dogs and cats, but may also include rabbits, ferrets, birds, and others. All dogs and cats are required to maintain a current rabies vaccination. In accordance with state law, all dogs and cats adopted from the humane society must be neutered or spayed to prevent unwanted animals or over-population of animals.
DOGS/PUPS

Altered: $90.00

Unaltered: *$80.00
CATS/KITTENS

Altered: $75.00

Unaltered: *$65.00

This fee includes:  $15 Spay/Neuter deposit*, first vaccinations, free pet health exam, pet care sample kit with valuable coupons, and a "Home Again" Identification Microchip.  In addition to the adoption fee, make sure you are ready to assume all the other costs of owning this pet.
*The Spay/Neuter deposit will be refunded upon showing shelter staff a veterinary bill or other documentation as proof that the alteration was performed.  Many new owners choose to forgo return of the deposit, instead leaving it as a contribution to the Shelter.
