Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Month - Johann Nunez!
Johann began volunteering in April 2008. As of October 30, he has contributed 126 hours to the shelter. Johann enjoys walking dogs and socializing cats like Highway, his current favorite. "I especially like her green eyes, and how they stand out against her jet-black coat. When I first started here, I wasn't able to walk the dogs, so I went to the cat room and took Highway out of her pen. It was an instant connection, and we still have a strong friendship." Johann likes volunteering because it gets him out of the house and gives him something worthwhile to do with his time when he is not working at a paid job.
