How Your Gift Helps
Donations to the Benton-Franklin Humane Society help promote responsible pet ownership, provide medical assistance to sick or injured pets, and find homes for pets who have run out of options. Your gift can save the lives of hundreds of homeless shelter animals each year.
Your gift helps the Benton Franklin Humane Society help pets in need today and for years to come. Here are some remarkable accomplishments made possible by your generosity:
Each and Every Year at BFHS…
- 1,000+ pets are cared for an adopted
- Hundreds of injured and sick pets receive immediate veterinary medical care as needed.
- Nearly 200 pets are rescued, through BFHS’ Happily Ever After transfer program, from other shelters around the region and neighboring states.
- 800-1,000 lbs (per month) of pet food assistance provides food to those pets who are owned by low-income families and those struggling to feed their pet.
BFHS never puts time limits on how long pets remain available for adoption. Pets stay as long as needed to find their forever home.
